RUSSIAN KUNGFU GROUP IN CHINA

        The opening ceremony of “Tourism Year of China” was held in Moscow on March 22, 2013. At the beginning of “Tourism Year of China”, we have received the first Russian Kung Fu Group comprising of total 18 people.

        Master Loginov established the International Kung Fu Clubs Association “TRIAD” in 1988. There are over 1000 students in the School now. Several “TRIAD” Branches were set up in Russian cities and abroad. In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its foundation as well as “Tourism Year of China”, it is the forth time for Master Loginov to lead his students to Shaolin Temple on pilgrimage as well as to Shaolin Temple Temple Wushu Training Center for both studying Kung Fu and exchanging Kung Fu skills.

         On March 26th morning, during the welcome ceremony by the front gate of the Shaolin Training Center, 12 Russian students performed their skills at the greeting show with the Wushu Training Center students. Within the two days, they pilgrimaged to Shaolin Temple, Pagoda Forests, Dharma’s Cave and Taoist Temple Zhongyue Temple.Russian students learned Yi Jin Jing, Ba Duan Jin and Luohan 18 Shou from Master Shi De Hong and other coaches. Together with Shaolin Martial Adepts,12 Russian Martial Arts adepts performed Yong Chun Quan, Tui Shou(Pushing Hands) and Snake Form for the tourists in the Demonstration Hall. Their splendid technical skills won warm applause.

        During the stay of the Russian Kung Fu Team, the director of the Training Center, Mr. Jiao Hong Bo and Master Loginov had a meeting paying special attention for establishing the friendly and cooperative relations. Both Parties hope to make great contribution in promoting traditional Shaolin culture. During the meeting,Master Loginov presented us a jade stone with the carved Dharma’s portrait as well as Dharma’s Zen content written in Russian language with the wish of fixing it in a public place as a striking evidence of our strong friendship.

         After finishing the plan in Shaolin, we have been to Luoyang, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Xi’an for visiting Chinese historical relics and significant site. Learning a few thousands years of culture, including Kung Fu, Master Loginov teaches his students the doctrine of Confucius and Mencius so that they can honor their parents and respect the teachers or masters developing moral, intellectual and physical skills.

        Enduring 7-days working together, I found that they highly respect Master Loginov and me. For example, they say “Good Morning and Good Night” to us every day. When we have a meal, they are always the first to serve the rice,tea etc…I think Master Loginov should be regarded as a precursor to propagate traditional culture of China.

        During the pilgrimage visit to China, the students performed shows by the front gate of Shaolin Temple, Guan Lin Temple and Yue Fei Temple. Their wonderful performance attracted hundreds tourists to watch and take photos. Especially visiting Yue Fei Temple, they appeared to have profound knowledge about the national hero Yue Fei. As a gift for his birthday of 910 years, a book “YUE FEI” written and published by Master Loginov was presented to the Temple. This is the first book about Yue Fei in Russian language. At last, I sincerely hope that we can make progress and work together to promote and exchange China-Russia cultures.
